An Historical Day!...

A short report first:

Donna got back from her mini-vacation. She had a nice visit with the kids. She spent the night with Tracey and had lunch the next day with Tracey and Margaret.(and she saw our son, Lorado and son-in-law, Mike)
She talked with Veronica on the phone but didn't get to see her.

Then she drove to Pleasanton and parked the car there and took the AMTRAK to SF and spent the day with her sister.

Then she went back to Modesto and spent that night with Tracey and left the next morning late and came home.

When she pulled into the driveway, Chico the Wonder Dog spun 33- (or was it 34-um-yeah) it was 34 circles on the carpet like he was chasing his tail, while waiting for the door to open and Donna to come in. He was happy to see her as was I. (but I spun no circles) She brought a present for me from SF; a back-scratcher, just what I wanted! 'yay'

All right, now it's time for the historical part! Mark this day on your calender as the first day in history (that I know of anyhow) that all three California NFL teams, the 49ers, the Chargers and the Raiders lose their games and in that order! 'whew'

My big brother is coming over for the games. He'll probably stay for the first two but leave before the Raiders game. He's 78 and getting to where he doesn't like driving at night.

Don't forget to place your bets!

Later...

Welcome home Donna. We've had to boat out twice. Let us know when you want to go to the lake.
