Da Da Dum--Ta Da Dooo...
Well, Mi Espousa (a little Mex lingo there) and I entertained at the Tehama Country Senior Citizen hall this morning. We had a really good time, singing and telling a joke or two for the old folks! We started at 10:30 and played right up until 12:00 noon, when the food was starting to be served.
I think they enjoyed listening almost as much as we enjoyed playing. There was a ton of applause after each song. Not a smattering; a TON!
We did old standards, such as, "Besame Mucho," and "All of Me," and mixed them with country such as, "Amarillo By Morning," and "Bobby McGee."
Even threw in a couple of Elvis songs and a Roy Orbison. We had a great time and joined the old folks for lunch.
And, last but certainly not least, we made 33 bucks in tips! Not bad for a couple of amateurs, eh!?!
Tomorrow we play at the Senior Center in Anderson. It'll be fun. We're looking forward to it!
Later...

Outstanding!
Are you going to play any of your original stuff? I like it.
Thanks for your kind comment! Yes I did play, "Back This Way Again," and it was well received!
This is, of course, later and now Mi Espousa (a little Mex lingo there) and I have also played the Anderson Senior Center. They want us back every Friday! It'll be fun.
